Endurance E-Series Upgrades, Repairs & Performance Improvements UK

A broken wind turbine means lost revenue. Get it fixed in a timely manner.

Endurance E-Series

As turbines age, we are more commonly encountering maintenance issues and failures due to age-related wear and fatigue. Failures such as cracked bedplates, damaged shafts, worn blades, and unplanned downtime are becoming more frequent so it’s important to address these issues now to avoid posing risks to reliability, profitability and safety.

At Earthmill Maintenance, we offer a smarter solution. As the official owners of the Endurance Wind Power intellectual property, we’ve developed a full suite of upgrade packages designed to resolve the turbine’s known design weaknesses.

Engineered to large-scale wind industry standards and proven in the field, our upgrades do more than just replace worn parts. The fully resigned components enhance performance, extend lifespan, and minimise future maintenance costs, meaning you’re not just repairing your turbine – you’re investing in its future.

E-Series bedplate & main shaft upgrades

Resolve bedplate & main shaft upgrades for Endurance E-3120

The original E-3120 bedplate and shaft design was not built to withstand real-world loads, leading to frequent failures and costly downtime. Our retrofit package solves these issues with a stronger, more resilient design that’s engineered to last.

Key upgrade highlights:

  • New bedplate design – reduces stress hotspots by up to 3 times.
  • New shaft – increasing strength and eliminating stresses caused by the original shaft keyway.
  • Redesigned hub-shaft connection – eliminates movement, improves serviceability.
  • Enhanced support to the generator– longer-lasting coupling and components.
  • Future-ready compatibility – supports upgrades like pitch control and yaw drive.
  • Warranty-backed peace of mind – 5 years as standard.

E-Series rotor upgrade

Norzet rotor upgrade for Endurance E-3120

The original EWP rotor and blades have caused ongoing problems — cracked blade holders, worn pins, and costly repairs. The new Norzet rotor system, tested in the UK and based on proven designs used in thousands of turbines worldwide, replaces these weak points with a robust and efficient solution.

Engineered improvements include:

  • New hub – designed with improved stress hot-spot resilience and for easy, simplified service.
  • New blades with tip brakes – hydraulic (recommended) or centrifugal braking for safety and overspeed protection.
  • Minimal moving parts – fewer failures, less wear, and reduced lifetime costs.
  • Proven engineering – based on load simulations, FEA analysis, and decades of industry experience.
  • Perfect fit – designed to work seamlessly with our Resolve bed frame and shaft upgrades.
  • New efficient blade design leads to increased energy production.

Manufactured by Norzet Ltd in Europe to IEC 61400 standards, this rotor system delivers safer operation, longer turbine life, and reliable performance.
