Installation has begun of 2 Endurance turbines at Wold Top Brewery

On Thursday 26th May installation began on 2 brand new Endurance turbines at Wold Top Brewery. This is Yorkshire’s first Endurance turbines to be installed! Armed with a crane a telescopic handler and man power the team began work with offloading the tower. This was constructed on the floor bolting the two parts together and attaching the fall arrest system. Once that was complete it was attached to the crane and hoisted up where it was then placed into the foundations. Steve then climbed the tower to unhook the crane and the first part was complete. Dave Broadbank our new Operations Manager said “It was easier then we first anticipated and we have learnt lessons that will help us with the installation for the ones to follow”
